Lovin the "U.P"

Wow, the summer is flying by!  It's almost August and no blog post yet... (my apologies I guess we have been having to much fun)

We spent a few days in the stunning U.P. of Michigan during our vacation.  It has been many years since I have been up there and I had forgotten how beautiful it is.  We camped at Straits State Park - right next to the Mackinaw Bridge.

My father in law and I even kayaked under the bridge.  If you wanna feel small.... and No I didn't dare bring my camera on that one

We also watched the Fourth of July Fireworks at the St. Ignace Pier

The kids really enjoyed the White Fish Point Lighthouse and Shipwreck Museum on Lake Superior

Yes, their toy binoculars are backward LOL Daddy is apparently taking the photo from very far away!

If you ever get up to the Newberry area Oswald's bear ranch is great too!

No trip to the Eastern U.P. would be complete without visiting Tahquaminon Falls

Thanks for sharing our vacation with us!
